Lakes 11 Beach Schools
This week Lakes 11 have been using what they could find on the beach to make some big pieces of art. Staff were super impressed with the children's ideas and they received some lovely comments from members of the public who passed them as they were getting creative.

Lake District Wildlife Park
Lakes 6 had a lovely trip to the Lake District Wildlife Park! They had a big walk around the park looking out for the animals they have been learning about and explored the play area.
A Trip on the Train
Lakes 7 have been on the train to Seascale, they played on the park and enjoyed an ice cream.
Army Engagement Visit
The Army Engagement Team visited Mayfield to work with students in Mountains Department developing participation skills, confidence and teamwork. Students had great fun and engaged really well with the different activities with the highlight being the inflatable assault course.
Lakes 4 trip to Seascale
Lakes 4 are focusing on the stage of their story where there are ‘sand and shells’ to walk through. They went to Seascale collecting shells for their art, explored the sand, practiced walking/sitting on uneven ground and even sunbathing (with lots of sun cream on!) They then went to the playground…
