Lakes 11 Beach Schools
This week Lakes 11 have been using what they could find on the beach to make some big pieces of art. Staff were super impressed with the children's ideas and they received some lovely comments from members of the public who passed them as they were getting creative.

Lake District Wildlife Park
Lakes 6 had a lovely trip to the Lake District Wildlife Park! They had a big walk around the park looking out for the animals they have been learning about and explored the play area.
A Trip on the Train
Lakes 7 have been on the train to Seascale, they played on the park and enjoyed an ice cream.
Army Engagement Visit
The Army Engagement Team visited Mayfield to work with students in Mountains Department developing participation skills, confidence and teamwork. Students had great fun and engaged really well with the different activities with the highlight being the inflatable assault course.

Boccia Champions
Mountains 1 are the grand champions of the Mountain’s Boccia competition! All teams were fantastic, thanks to Ali and her helpers for organising such an exciting competition.
Library and Cafe West Visit
Mountains 1 had a fantastic time at Workington Library and Cafe West. They enjoyed exploring the library, choosing and listening to stories. They ordered yummy cakes from cafe west.
Planet Play
Massive thank you to Planet Play who let Lakes 3 and Lakes 5 use their soft play for the afternoon, they kindly gave all the pupils squash whilst they were there and let everyone choose a snack and helped them exchange a coin for an item. Everyone had a fantastic time.
