Mountains 9 were visited by Steph and Scott from the Georgian House Hotel in Whitehaven to work with the students on aspects of what it is like to work in the catering and hospitality sector. Students enjoyed taking part in various activities that taught them how to formally set a table for dinner, how to make a ‘mocktail’ drink and how to make a mushroom carbonara.
We would like to thank Steph and Scott for giving up their time to come and visit us – everyone really enjoyed it and learnt a lot.
