Year 10 have enjoyed a week’s work experience at The Calvert Trust stables in Keswick. All the students have worked really hard getting stuck into various jobs around the stables and have shown fantastic listening skills when adults have been talking to them. They especially enjoyed a visit from the vet and veterinary nurse and got to look deep inside a horse’s mouth and explored various bones and enlarged insects that can be a problem for horses if left.
